Bud Howard Loxahatchee River District

Bud Howard is the Director of Information Services at the Loxahatchee River District in Jupiter. He holds a Master’s degree in ecology from FIU. From his early days as a research biologist tagging gamefish, he discovered his joy for scientific research and doing remarkable things with computers and data, as well as sharing those tools and results with others. He presently leads the District’s Wild Pine Ecological Laboratory and Information Technology departments. Bud will share some of the fascinating science conducted in the Loxahatchee River.
