This is part of our Meet the Scientist Lecture Series, which promotes and facilitates the pursuit of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and encourages communication between scientists and residents of the communities in which they live and work.

Since its inception in 2004, this program has introduced more than 100 national and international world-class scientists and researchers associated with a variety of local, national and international organizations to our coastal community.
