Growing up on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Linton Creel developed an early appreciation of Florida’s marine environment. Linton, who is retired from the U.S. Army and Cardinal Health, is the Team Coordinator for the Palm Beach County Reef Research Team, Inc, an organization of citizen naturalists who monitor and survey natural and artificial reefs in Palm Beach County ocean waters as well as the Lake Worth Lagoon. The scientific data gathered by the Team is reported to the Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management and the State of Florida, Florida Wildlife Commission for the management of marine resources in Palm Beach County, Florida. As Team Coordinator, Linton wears many hats; fish identification specialist, invertebrate identification specialist, underwater photographer, and underwater videographer.
