Currency: All orders at taras.org are processed in U.S. Dollars ($US). Prices indicated on taras.org exclude handling and shipping charges, unless specifically mentioned otherwise. These handling and shipping charges will be calculated and displayed on-screen for you at the checkout. taras.org reserves the right to change or alter prices of products without notice. The price payable by you for a product shall be the price applicable on the date the products are confirmed as ordered by you. Orders will be charged in full at the time an order is placed. Unless Customer provides Vendor with a valid and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to the Products shipped to Customer’s location prior to Vendor’s acceptance of the order, the Customer is responsible for sales tax, and all other taxes associated with the order, however designated, except taxes on Vendor’s net income. If applicable, a separate charge for taxes will be shown on Vendor’s invoice.
Payment: Payment may be made by credit card, check or Direct Bank Transfer. Payment must be received in full before an order is shipped.
Shipping: Separate charges for shipping and handling will be shown on the invoice(s). Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable. You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of, or damage to, the product during shipping, both to and from The Taras Oceanographic Foundation. We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Please also note that the international shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
