Michael Alexander is a well-known, award-winning artist living in South Florida.

Best known for his marine life and ocean paintings, his commissioned works span a much larger spectrum of topics/themes. His oil paintings have been sold in numerous galleries, private collections and art shows all across the country. His airbrush artwork on cars, motorcycles and other objects is just as exceptional as are his murals; a dolphin-themed one can be seen at the Jupiter Pointe Marina facilities. Michael always loved the ocean and marine life and received his scuba certification at age 16. Dive trips to Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean inspired his artwork. In 1990, he moved to southeast Florida to live near the ocean and pursue his dream of being a full time marine life artist. Holding a degree in advertising and graphic design, Michael’s success as an artist allowed him to focus solely on art as his career. Michael joined the Board of the Foundation in 2014 and serves as a Director for Arts & Culture, applying his personal experiences and creative talents to the edutainment programs and the overall growth of the Foundation.
